Vision and Mission
We call it our „little crazy project“. It was in 2017, when we passed by this small Villa during a bicycle tour with our kids. Even than, the house was already covered with plants, hidden behind small trees. Nature had nearly taken back this 100 year old beauty. When we were able to start renovating the house in 2018 you could hardly see it anymore. It closely survived 15 years of vacancy and vandalism.
For quite a long time we had this idea in mind to run our own guest house and to host tourists by ourselves. Now there was an object, that was suitable for putting this idea on track.
We wouldn’t have survived the last four years of fighting back the leaves, the problems and hurdles with the renovation, if there wouldn’t have been a bigger idea behind it: Offering climate friendly holidays in a sustainable way including regional producers and partners.
Therefore we want to offer an restored old buidling, run mainly with green energy, cool Family-bicycles and a power station for electric vehicles for soft mobility and a chance to enjoy locally produced food.
There we go now. Starting from September 2021 we open these two personally furnished and cosy appartments in our PrimaKlimaVilla right alongside the famous cycle way „Elberadweg“, in the Nationalpark Region Saxon Switzerland.

Appartment „Steinbrecher“ (stone crusher)
The most precious part of this appartment is our winter garden with an open view towards the green fields and the river Elbe. From here you directly access the terrace and the garden for your private use.
During cold days the fireplace brings the whole family together in our fully equipped living room/ kitchen to talk about the adventures of the day.
This appartment offers two seperate bedrooms (each with double beds), posseses a modern and high quality equipment and is nicely heated with an underfloor heating.
The associated green fields offer enough space for playing and relaxing. Cyclists just go in front of the guest house and start either their training or exploration programme. Water enthusiasts just walk down to the river (50 meters) to start their stand-up paddeling or their kajak-trip. After these adventures you can use the sandstone fireplace to bake bread on a stick for your loved ones. Welcome!
Appartment „Wilke Aussicht“ (Wilke Outlook)
Enjoying a great outlook at the Elbe Valley. This is the promise of the „Wilke Aussicht“ (Wilke Outlook) which can be reached only by a 45minute walk form the guest house. This nearby destination lends its name also to the biggest appartment in our PrimaKlimaVilla.
In this appartment you have to decide whether you enjoy the evening on the open Loggia to the east or on the forrest terrace to the west. It offers as two separate bedrooms. Besides the classical couple bedroom the whole top floor is equipped as playing and sleeping room for at least three persons or more kids.
In the open kitchen you can create ideas for the next trips and in the big family bathroon (14 m²) you can relax and talk about these experiences in an infrared cabine (power saving sauna alternative ;-).
